Rationale: Between the 16th and 18th centuries, many Europeans embarked upon a "New World." Then again, the "new world" wasn't exactly "new" to those who inhabited America for centuries prior to the arrival of Europeans. When worlds collide, it creates challenges for all.

From Mr. Santiago,

Summer is over!!!!!!!! Yep, we are back to a new school year and I am super excited to get started. I hope all is well on the home front and students are well rested and ready for another year at Bailey Junior High. This is going to be a year full of learning with a lot of fun. You should now begin receiving a weekly newsletter with information going on from behind the door of room 211. You can also find this information on the class website under announcements. If you have any questions please email Mr. Santiago at hsantiag@aisd.net. Video tutorials are available on this site. Students who take notes from the designated videos will be allowed on regular Wednesday quizzes. Mid-Unit Quizzes, Unit Test, and large Concept based test will receive bonus points to the assignment but will not be allowed to use them as a tool.

Please be on the look out for any new letters or call outs from the school about school pictures.

Make Good Choices, Do Great Things!
