Her thesis was focused on "Nanomaterial-cellular interactions assisted optimization of nanoparticle design, for drug delivery applications".

At present she is working as postdoctoral associate with Dr. Chilkoti's Lab at Duke University.

Research work: Developing aptamer based drug delivery vehicles for chemotherapy.

Anil Chandra

His thesis was focused on "Cell microenvironment pH sensing in 3D".

At present he is working as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Loretta Del Mercato's group at CNR Nanotec, Lecce, Italy.

Project: “Sensing cell-cell interaction heterogeneity in 3D tumor models: towards precision medicine – INTERCELLMED” (2018-2023)

Vartika Dhyani

Her thesis was focused on "Chemical strategies for the manipulation of material's biological properties".

Currently she is working with Prof. Raz Jelinek, Department of Chemistry at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel.

Navin Gaur

He has completed his M.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur in 2014. His areas of interest are Cancer Biology and Tissue Engineering. Other than academics and research, he has keen interest in literature, international politics and sports.Currently he is working at National Research Development Corporation as a technology transfer professional.

Kanika Prajapat

Kanika completed her B.Tech in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi. She is keen in building technologies and processes to convert different type of waste materials into high value, eco friendly products. Currently she is working on paper waste and agricultural waste such as baggase, rice straw and developing machines to convert them into value added products.

Ankur Kumar

Ankur is from Patna and completed his B.Tech in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi in 2017. His interest is in developing processes and machines to produce affordable, high quality and eco friendly value added products from waste natural materials/fibers. Currently he is working on paper waste and agricultural waste such as baggase, rice straw and developing technologies to convert them into value added products.

Nandita Bal (Project Trainee)

Nandita completed her Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, India. For her senior year project she visited Colorado State University, U.S.A with Dr. Ketul Popat, where she worked on formation of nanoceramics coatings on commercially pure titanium to enhance bone implant adhesion. She is also a state level tennis player.A recent Masters of Engineering graduate from Cornell University with a specialization in interfacing robotic subsystems for medical applications.he was also the Chief Product Engineer for Geri-Safe.

Currently she is working in the Advanced Biomaterials Laboratory, Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts.

Vikrant Pitke (Project Assistant)

Vikrant is from Pune. He completed his B.E. in Biotechnology from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He pursued his M. Tech. in Biotechnology at VIT, vellore. His M Tech. project was carried out at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, on Repercussion of Pharmacological Inhibition of Hsp90 in the Regulation of Cell Cycle. He worked as Junior Research Fellow in cancer cell biology at CCMB, Hyderabad, India.

Currently he is working at Biocon- Bristol Meyers Squibb Research and Development Centre (BBRC) at Syngene International Limited.

Dinesh Ahiraao (Project Trainee)

Dinesh completed his secondary & higher secondary education from nasik board. He obtained his B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Physics from North Maharastra University, Jalgaon. For his master’s thesis he worked on “Gas sensing properties of pure Tio2 and Ru doped Tio2 thin films prepared by spray pyrolysis techniques” under the guidance of Dr. L.A.Patil at NMU. He completed his M .Tech. from School of Chemical Technology, NMU, Jalgaon and worked on his final year project at CSIR-NCL, Pune.

He is currently working as a Junior Research Fellow at Institute of Chemical Technology,

Purva Deshmukh (Project Trainee)

Purva obtained a Masters in Microbiology and completed her M.Tech. Nanotechnology from School of Chemical Technology, NMU, Jalgaon and worked on her final year project at CSIR-NCL, Pune.
