Sahil Malhotra

Sahil is from New Delhi. His entire schooling was completed in New Delhi. He did his graduation and Masters (Chemistry) from Hindu College, Delhi University. He qualified NET (June 2014) and GATE 2015. He is currently pursuing his PhD at IIT Delhi. His hobbies include singing and listening to music.

Research Interest: Nature derived nanoparticles for biomedical applications.

Akshay Joshi

Akshay completed his Mtech in biomedical engineering from IIT Hyderabad in 2017. His interest in bio-3d printing and tissue engineering motivated him to continue his research as a PhD student from IIT Delhi. Apart from science, he loves swimming.

Scholarships: GATE 2015, 2016 and 2017

Research Interest: Micropatterning techniques to study cell behaviour.

Shreemoyee De

Shreemoyee belongs to Delhi. She has done her B.Sc (Microbiology) from Gargi College, Delhi University and M.Sc.(Biochemistry) from University of Hyderabad. She has worked as a joint project fellow in CSIR-IGIB and NII. She has joined as a PhD student in January, 2018. Apart from reading science journals, she likes to travel and also continues her classical dance training (kathak).

Scholarships- Gate (life sciences) 2015, Gate (Biotechnology) 2016.

Research interest: Development of 3D culture platform to study cancer

Namrata Tiwari

Namrata belongs to Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. She has completed her Integrated Dual Degree, B.Tech in Bioengineering with M.Tech in Biomedical Techonology from IIT BHU, Varanasi . Apart from research, she loves reading and writing poetry and enjoy playing badminton. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree from IIT Delhi.

Research Interest: Tissue engineering and biomaterials synthesis. She is currently working on piezoelectric biomaterials for tissue engineering applications.

Simran Kaur

Simran is a Delhi-based PhD graduate student. She did her B.tech and M.tech Dual degree in Nanotechnology from Amity University. She has done internships at CSIR-NPL and CSIR-CLRI. She started her PhD in July, 2019. She likes to do sketching and read science books.

Research Interest: Development of nanoplatforms for cancer margin clearance.

Anju

Anju, born and brought up in Haryana, completed her B.Sc (Biotech.) and M.Sc (Botany) from University of Kurukshetra, Haryana. She was awarded Gold medal in her Masters. Later she taught in a college at her native place which helped in improving her skills, sense of humor and patience as well. She enrolled in PhD at IITD in December, 2019.

Her likes doing Yoga, reading novels, gardening and try hard to not to be the worst dancer in the room.

She is getting fellowship from UGC. Currently, she is working on a joint project by IITD and ICAR.

Research interests:- Development of Nanodelivery systems for plants and animals.

Manleen Kaur

Manleen belongs to Delhi . She has pursued B.tech (Biotechnology) from Sharda University and M.tech (Biotechnology) from Gautum Buddha University. She has worked as project fellow under DR.G.P. Talwar, at Talwar Research Foundaton. She started her PhD in December, 2019. Apart from science and research , she is passionate about photography and adventures.
