Molecularly Resolved Nano-Biomedicine Laboratory

Mission: We are enthusiastic group of researchers using multi-disciplinary approaches to develop materials for healthcare applications.

MRNBL group works on multi-disciplinary interface to design better therapies, devices, and diagnostic procedures to improve human health. The group uses elements of molecular biology, nanotechnology, tissue engineering, and biosensors to tackle important challenges in disease diagnosis and regenerative medicine. Current lab projects range from design and synthesis of biomaterials, scaffolds, devices and micro-organs for a range of applications in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, early detections of pathologies, cancer metastasis and drug delivery.

The laboratory holds patents for silk based biomaterials, pH sensing materials. In addition the group is also involved in development of a chemical processing technology that allows value addition to agro waste.
