You will have:

6 songs selected for analysis

6 songs recorded on to a CD or flash drive or even shared via google drive

6 song lyrics

1 historical back ground on your topic (essay)

1 analysis of each song and how it relates to your topic (part of your essay)

On the day of presentation

You will present your topic including the historical background and song analysis.

You will select one song that you will present and explain how it is connected to the topic.

You will have the lyrics to the song you selected on the overhead for the class to see – you should copy and paste the lyrics onto a word document - please note that the lyrics must be ready for presentation - that means you are not looking them up during your presentation
