· Teaching specialized English programme to three classes

· Teaching a Hauora programme, along with Life Skills, Communication Literacy and R.E.E.P [extension programme for reading and writing]

· Member of planning team for English Curriculum

· Involved in school wide Art Exhibition

Responsibilities:

· Designs, develops, and prepares specialized English curriculum - innovative and student focused

· Fosters an environment where the children can work and learn independently

· Extends learning beyond the main stream classroom

· Responsible for encouraging community awareness and involvement in the school

· Increases student exposure to life experiences

· Plans lessons to groups of children to meet their levels for Reading, Writing and Spelling

· Oversees the coordination of interdisciplinary efforts: writing unit plans, ordering supplies, scheduling facilities, organizing field trips, and communicating with parents

· Set high expectations for student behaviour
