Jump The Gun

Jump The Gun is over for another year! The worst of the wet weather stayed away, for Saturday at least. Humidity was another matter. Around 45 riders took to the roads over the weekend for a bumper PBP edition of event, with at least one rider completing their qualifying series.The 2011 edition of the event is being organised by Audax legend Ronnie McInnes, so there may be a few changes to the format and routes. The easiest 600 you will ever do! 50km & 100km loops from a central caravan park base through the beautiful Goldfields country.

The ride consists of 100km and 50 km loops as described below. It is unsupported with shop controls along the way.

Other distances: 100, 200, 300 & 400km.

2nd loop – 101.6 kms - Maryborough – Carisbrook – Baringhup – Maldon – Newstead – Campbelltown – Majorca – Maryborough

3rd loop – 102.5 kms – Maryborough – Eddington – Laanecoorie – Newbridge – Tarnagulla – Dunolly – Maryborough

4th loop – 52 kms – Maryborough – Avoca – Maryborough(out & back)

SUNDAY- START 6 AM – 242.4 kms to be completed

5th loop – 102.8 kms – Maryborough – Talbot – Clunes – Campbelltown – Newstead – Carisbrook – Maryborough

6th loop – 91.6 kms – Maryborough – Avoca – Moonanbel – Natte Yallock – Wareek – Alma – Maryborough.

7th loop – 48 kms – Maryborough – Dunolly –Maryborough(out & Back)
