Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am Hung-Gay Fung, Dr. Y.S. Tsiang Professor of Chinese Studies at the University of

Missouri-St. Louis and President of the Midwest Chinese American Science and Technology

Association (MCASTA; 美中西區華人學術聯誼會). I am delighted to invite you to join us in

celebrating 43 years of scientific meetings and social gatherings at our upcoming conference on

Saturday, September 19, 2025.

This year’s event will take place at the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center (EIC) at the

University of Missouri-St. Louis. Our conference will focus on the transformative impact of
