Outstanding Scholar Award Winners Announced!!
From the conference chair:
Please join us in St. Louis for the 2011 MCASTA Symposium. Following the success of previous symposiums, we plan to continue with a mix of traditional MCASTA activities and some new events.
Our focus for this year's Symposium is technology enabled sustainability. Technology is defined in a broader way to represent the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science. In order to have a 360 degree view of sustainability, we invite scholars of all fields, students of all grades, and parents of all types to share their researches, experiences, and cases in how and what technologies are used to improve sustainability in their specific field(s). We seek innovative ways to define sustainability. For example, parents can discuss what technologies they used to provide a sustainable family structure, a successful business owner could share experience on how technologies are used to establish a sustainable business, a high school student can share technologies he/she used to create a sustainable learning path, etc. Please consider to submit a presentation proposal to one of exciting tracks listed under Call for Submission!
A successful symposium would needs volunteers to work with various events and activities. We hope that you would consider volunteering your service to make the Annual MCASTA Symposium more successful and enjoyable (Volunteer your service)
Please visit the MCASTA Annual Symposium web site often for further announcements and information and share ideas, suggestions, and inquiries at mcasta.stl@gmail.com.
See you in St. Louis!
