Not much is known about this cat. His name was Eric, but he became Route 466. For like a highway, everything was coming through. The club was in the VMA one season and gone. Finishing dead last, the 466 went (3-12-3) in 2011-12, and Rt 466 posted a 6.55GAA behind the teams lackluster play. But like any top tier goalie, as the stakes rose - so did his play. In the 2012 playoffs the 466 upset the #1 seed Zingers, 6-2, in the Semis, and then had the Source (DJCC) by the balls in the Finals - only for the Source to tie late in the 3rd and then win the Cup in OT with a guy slipping behind the 466's ineffective PP out of the box on a breakaway. A move here and a twist there, and the deke won the Source the Cup 4-3. But with his stellar prowless in net, Rt 466 boasted an impressive 2.50GAA in the postseason. As his head hung leaving the ice like Tim Thomas after the Scott Walker OT goal, it was the last anyone has seen of him.
