A living legend of the VMA. Matt Dunn could lose his next 200 starts and would still go down as one of true VMA goal tending greats. He has three (3) titles. He backstopped both the Flames (2007) and Zingers (2009 & 2010) to VMA Cups. He now mans the pipes on DJCC in 2015 after a 3yr hiatus from the league. Lore states somewhere around late 2010, bored with the diminishing complexities of goaltending Dunn went on a hunting expedition by foot across the catacombs of Vermont reaching as far as to Minnesota. With no weaponry, only taking his wits and ability to pounce in the blink of an eye - he stalked his prey and slayed anything that moved with his bare hands. He has a trophy room that would make Ted Nugent wee-wee himself.
He is the original goalie of the legendary Flames with the now infamous (24-1-1) record & a 3.19GAA in 2007-08 comprised of two-half seasons in which in the spring of 2008, Dunn lead the Flames to a (15-0-0) finish with a 2.73 GAA. That stands as the ultimate marker for VMA goaltending. His patented move is the rare, but impenetrable two-pad stack. Dunn's mask is and shall always be the face of the VMA.
