Lentil Soup
- 1/2 lb lentils
- 3-4 large carrots sliced
- 2-3 stalks celery sliced
- 2 small or 1 large onion sliced or diced
- 4 sweet or hot sausages
- 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 4 cans broth (or homemade) beef, chicken or combo
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Shredded cabbage
- salt and pepper to taste
Bring all ingredients to a boil and simmer until vegetables and lentils are tender.
Approx. 30 minutes.
