Baked Oatmeal with Herbs

Baked Oatmeal with Herbs

  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1 grated apple and or 1/2 cup raisons or craisons
  • 1/2 t. ground sweet cicely seeds or 1 T. fresh lavender blossoms
  1. Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan. This can be made the night before and baked in the morning.
  2. Bake at 350° for approx. 30 minutes.

Serve as is or with milk and brown sugar or honey.

Approx. 4 - 6 servings.
