Baked Oatmeal with Herbs
Baked Oatmeal with Herbs
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1 grated apple and or 1/2 cup raisons or craisons
- 1/2 t. ground sweet cicely seeds or 1 T. fresh lavender blossoms
- Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan. This can be made the night before and baked in the morning.
- Bake at 350° for approx. 30 minutes.
Serve as is or with milk and brown sugar or honey.
Approx. 4 - 6 servings.
