ST 83073490. Bowl barrow, the eastern half damaged by a road. Excavation before 1811; found an urned cremation. Bowl barrow, north-west of Mere Down Farm, the eastern half removed by the road. It is now 20 paces wide and 2 feet high. Hoare reports that excavation revealed an upright urn with two perforations in it and a cremation. Grinsell suggests this to be probably LBA.
