ST 81803790. Bowl barrow - cremation burial. 'Tumulus' shown and described in a meadow south of Newmead Farm (1) (2) was excavated by Hoare; it contained a simple interment of burned bones. (Not recorded in VCH Wilts 1 1957, 134 ff - Wilts barrows - by L V Grinsell) (1-2) This barrow cannot be located. (3)
