Duke of Somerset's Estates

The Maiden Bradley Estate is centred on the village of Maiden Bradley, near Warminster, in Wiltshire, which is a small village between Mere and Frome in the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, approximately 3 miles North of the A303 London to Exeter main road. It is situated between Stourhead House and Gardens (National Trust) and Longleat House and Safari Park. Gillingham, Frome and Warminster (approximately 6 miles) are nearby, whilst the Roman City of Bath is about 45 minutes away. The village boasts a lively community shop and Post Office, a newly refurbished pub, the Somerset Arms, a Recreation Ground and Village Hall hosting many functions and societies. There are railway stations at Gillingham (serving London Waterloo) and Westbury (serving London Paddington / Exeter) are also nearby.
