History

The kingdom of Keramose has been under the leadership of the divinely appointed royal family of Alizan for all of recorded history. It is now a time of peace. The war with Kashintar now represents itself with occasional boarder disputes but the great armies of the past have long since been disbanded. However the boarder between the two kingdoms is patrolled by Keramose Horsemen and the Kashintar keeps.

The capital city of Keramose is the grand city of Keramose. It has been the seat of human power in the region for hundreds of years. To the south of the capital is the city of Everask. Everask is controlled by Duke Edmon Alizan III the eldest brother to King Henry Alizan IV. Everask is a city as old as Kashintar. It is rumored that the city was originally of dwarven architecture. Leverask holds the Royal Library which is said to be the most comprehensive source of knowledge in all the realm. The priests of the Divine Light are it’s care takers and the only ones besides the royal family who are allowed to peruse it’s secrets.

1 Ages

The realm of York has gone through several ages. The modern time is known as the Golden Age or age of Enlightenment.

1.1 First Age (-2000 Years)

The land is free and wild. The elves inhabit the forests and planes. Humans are tribal and harmless. The dwarves live with in great cities along the mountains.

Magic in this time is powerful and wild. The great dragons of the modern times are awakened and very active. Gods walk York and interact with the people and creatures of the land.

Technology is high.

1.2 Second Age (-2000 Years to -1000 Years)

Humans have conquered the lands and driven the Elves and Dwarves deeper into their woods and mountains. They now war with each other for supremacy.

Magic has waned. Many secrets were lost by the death of thousands of elves and dwarves. Humans burn many of great libraries of the other great races.

Technology is falling as humans reign destruction.

1.3 Dark Age (God’s War) (-1200 Years to -1000 Years)

Little is know about this time. This time is dominated by a war between the God of Magic and his Son. Holy wars raged between all races.

Magic is strong but the knowledge of Magic is quickly disappearing.

Technology is weak.

1.4 Age of Enlightenment (-1000 Years to )

The God’s War has ended and the races are beginning to establish themselves once again. Dwarves/Elves are secluded. Humans are rebuilding their cities/countries.

Magic is weak.

Technology is growing.

The Calendar of York is made up of twelve months. Each month has 30 days. The months are named after our months.
