Biota Australis Terrestris: Subantarctic and Antarctic Biota, a searchable database for the biology of Antarctica and the Subantarctic Islands, North Dakota State University Geosciences Dept.
BUGS Coleopteran Ecology Package - a "database of habitat, distribution and fossil record data for beetles (Coleoptera). The package has a series of interfaces which help in the recording of species abundance data, looking up of species, and the compilation of beetle based environmental reconstructions"; data for over 5400 taxa, mainly European beetles; website by Paul and Phil Buckland.

National Hydrography Dataset - USGS - "...the surface water component of The National Map. The NHD is a digital vector dataset used by geographic information systems (GIS).
