The experiences that we have are what shape who we are and how we perceive the world.  They can be influenced by not only the people that you are with, but also by the location in which they occur.  Written, pictorial and oral stories are how we communicate our experiences to one another, and the collection of experiences is the beginning step in they development of community and culture.  My goal in making my game is to connect players to each other, and to their collective place, through story.

The mechanics of my game are very simple.  Using the ARIS interface and the notebook feature, I will create notes at several places in Albuquerque - Satellites, Flying Stars, Sunshine Theater, Sandia Mountains, etc. - on which players will be allowed to comment.  On these notes, I will prompt players to create a story of some sort in response to the location.  The prompt at each location will be different, so that each location has a different part of a overall story.  In the end, I hope that this gets players to convey an experience that they've had at that location, or what it means to them, in any form of media that they choose (be it writing, image or voice memo), and players will be able to go to each location and piece together a long "tale" from the comments at each location.
