Overview
The annual LINKS Center summer workshop provides training in social network analysis (SNA) at both beginner's and advanced levels.
This year's workshop is taught by a team of instructors including Filip Agneessens, Steve Borgatti, Dan Brass, Rich DeJordy, Martin Everett, Dan Halgin, Curtis Hampton, Phil Willburn, Jeff Johnson, David Krackhardt, Joe Labianca, Ajay Mehra, Marc Smith and Tom Valente. The hallmark of our workshop is clarity.

Mini-modules (multiple 1.5-hour sessions at the end of each day, no sign-up required). Examples:
Collecting network data using web survey tools
Handling IRBs (human subject committees)
Scraping data from the web via NodeXl

E-Net software for analyzing ego network data collected via personal network research designs
Cognitive social structure data (CSS)
Getting and managing research sites
Negative ties
1-on-1 consultations for overall paper development, data analysis, and project design
Cost
The base cost for the 1-week workshop is $1500, but students pay only half price, or $750. Except for a few special events, costs do not include food, lodging or transportation. Full refunds for cancellations can be obtained up until one week before the workshop.
