Accommodations
There are basically two options for accommodations: On-campus housing, and local hotels/motels. In choosing an accommodation, please note the location of the workshop building (see map below), which is:

We have negotiated university rates for workshop participants at the local hotels below. The room blocks are reserved for arrival Sun., June 3 and departure Fri., June 8. A limited number of rooms have been blocked the day before and after the arrival and departure dates mentioned.

UNIVERSITY SUMMER CONFERENCE HOUSING
Location: Jewell Hall, University of Kentucky campus, 344 South Martin Luther King Boulevard, Lexington, KY 40526
Distance: 0.5 walking miles to the Gatton College of Business & Economics Bldg.
Description: The suites in Jewell Hall are 2 private bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The prices include a linen pack (pillow, pillow case, sheets, blanket, towel, and washcloth). Toiletries are not included, but soap bar, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper are available at the desk if you forget yours.
$45 shared suite includes linens
$80 single suite includes linens
A limited block of suites has been reserved for campus housing arriving Sunday, June 3 and departing Friday, June 8 with a few rooms available before and after the arrival and departure dates previously mentioned. If you plan to use University housing, you will need to fill out the reservation form online prior to your arrival to the LINKS Workshop. If you are looking for a roommate to share a suite, please contact Connie Blakemore at csblak00@uky.edu. She will connect you with other LINKS participants that have contacted her looking for a roommate to share a suite.
Summer Conference Housing contact: uksch@uky.edu or (859) 963-3041. Once on campus, the front desk number for Jewell Hall is (859) 629-3777 if you have any questions. You will call this number when you arrive to be let in the front doors of Jewell Hall. Please contact me, Connie Blakemore at csblak00@uky.edu if you are needing additional assistance with your University housing.
You will be able to check-in and get your suite key when you arrive. For security protection, the doors will be locked but someone will be at the front desk (24 hrs.) to let you in. Suggestion: You might want to check ahead of time with University Housing to get more information on the best place to park and unload, and ask any other questions you have about staying on campus. Also read the Campus Parking information below for more information if you plan to bring a car.

If something is not working properly, you may call FIXIT 859-323-4948.
Washing machines are available in Jewell Hall, but you need to provide your own detergent. Each load is $1.25 and machines accept credit cards.
Elauwit is UK Housing's TV and internet provider. Their contact is 800-611-9837. You may sign in for wifi as a guest.
CAMPUS PARKING AND DIRECTIONS TO JEWELL HALL:
General Campus Parking and for Jewell Hall guests please contact UK Parking Special Events, Brandy Reynolds, at bareyn2@email.uky.edu or 859-257-9680 to obtain parking information and maps. Be sure to contact Parking at least a week before the Workshop. Parking Offices will be closed on the weekends.
Directions to Jewell Hall from Bluegrass Airport 18 minutes 6.2 miles
1. Take a left onto Man O'War Blvd.
2. Take your first right onto Versailles Rd./US-60 E. Continue to follow US-60 E.
3. Continue straight to stay on Versailles Rd.
4. Stay straight to go onto W. Maxwell St./KY-1974.
5. Turn right onto S. Martin Luther King Blvd.
6. Jewell Hall at 344 S. Martin Luther King Blvd. is located on the left.
Directions From Interstate 75, Newtown Pike Exit to Jewell Hall on 344 South Martin Luther King Boulevard. 16 minutes 5.1 miles
1. Exit Interstate to Newtown Pike South.
2. Turn left onto W. Main St./US-25 S/US-421 S. Continue to follow US-25 S/US-421 S.
3. Turn right onto S. Broadway/US-60 W/US-27 S/US-68 W. Continue to follow S. Broadway/US-27 S/US-68 W.
4. Turn left onto W. Maxwell St./KY-1974.
5. Turn right onto S. Martin Luther King Blvd.
6. Jewell Hall at 344 S. Martin Luther King Blvd. is located on the left.
