1. First we have to highlight the word, sentence or picture.
Can we use a highlighter to do this in a computer?
2. Then we copy it ....... in a photocopier???

3. Next we paste it in the new place using glue.
What a mess that would cause in and to the computer if we used real glue to paste.

How to Highlight, Copy and Paste in the Computer
Step 1. Highlight the object to be copied. It will turn blue as in the picture.
Step 2. Click on Edit on the menu bar.
Step 3. Move the cursor down to 'copy' and click.
Step 4. Move the cursor and click where you want your copy to go.
Step 5. Click on Edit on the menu bar.
Step 6. Move the cursor down to 'paste' and click.
