This Skill allows your character to learn a basic trade, which he or she partakes in when not adventuring. The actual trade learnt doesn't matter and it could be; Carpenter, Bowyer/Fletcher, Black smith or any other profession of the players choosing. For each rank of this skill, characters gain five groats per month per level of skill of real time. The exact trade is chosen when selecting this skill and the TRADE skill may be purchased more than once with a different profession for each skill, but a character may only gain benefit from a maximum of ten ranks of trade skills in total. There isn’t enough time in the day to work anymore.
Trade - Teaching
This skill is similar to the trade skill mentioned above, but instead allows a character to teach any skill or spell that character already knows to any willing pupil. It is possible to teach other PC’s although there is a small monetary cost for equipment and other expendable material. Any character with the Teaching skill will normally be employed by a Guild to teach guild members. This skill counts towards the total number of ranks of trade skills a character may have. Skills are coloured to show Minor, simple skills in white, Moderate complicated skills in yellow and Major difficult skills in green. Characters will need two ranks of teaching to instruct people in Moderate skills or spells and three ranks of teaching to instruct Major skills or spells. Minor skills or spells can be taught with only one rank in this skill.
