Check out the a picture of me in the MacArthur Metro! I read to students at Sequoia Elementary for DEAR - Drop Everything And Read day. Kids wore pajamas to school and guests came to read to each class. I brought scenes from "Little Pig's Busy Day" (unpublished) to share with kindergarteners and 2nd graders. I let the kids tell the story of the pictures.

What did I learn? Making author appearences at schools is my dream job, and I hope I can do it again someday. What else? Little kids LOVE Little Pig!  Read article here.
