A rather good little book that gives a good grounding in just about all aspects of stunt (or trick) kite flying. It has sections about the development of the stunt kites, types of lines, essential materials, along with information about team and trick flying.
In the back there are a number of plans for dual line delta (Pump, Sushi, Tranquillizer) and a quad line (Flash).
Strangely this book was extremely cheap and came with a really, really, really bad single line kite. Worth getting if you can.

A rather old book now written by a pair of Dutch kite fliers. The first part of the book is about flying techniques and the second part is full of plans for a number of dual lines (Shuttle, Speedwing, Team-Light, Standard-200, Speedfoil, Sputnik 1 & 2, Gizmo/Cicada) and a single quad line (Kwat).
Most of the dual line look pretty 'old school' now - certainly the delta kites are very old fashioned compared with just about everything on the market these days.

This was picked up for 20p in the Sheffield Library sale - and a bargain! Unlike the other 2 books this one covers single line kite flying in quite a lot of detail, along with the history and development of kites. Most types of kites are covered (or at least the kites that were current when the book was written in 1992). Being a Dorling Kindersley Book the layout and pictures are fantastic.
In the back there are a number of plans for single line kites (Simple Sled, Della Porta, Six Pack, Tumbling Star
