Kilcoo GAC AGM 2020 takes place via the internet on 1st December at 8.00pm
Players shall, at all times, respect the Club premises, property, transport and equipment
Players shall not use bad or abusive language in their dealings with:
· Other players (own club or opposition)
· Coaches, managers or selectors
· Club officials
· Games officials (referees, linesmen, umpires)
· Nor while travelling to or from club games
Players should attend training sessions arranged for them. Be on the field at the appointed time – not in the dressing room or on the way!
Players must come to training with suitable gear, boots, stick and helmet (where appropriate)
Players should not need to leave the training sessions to attend toilet, take phone calls or for any other reason except in exceptional circumstances
Players who do not attend training regularly may not be considered for team selection – those who do attend will be given priority over those who do not
A player who is unable to attend training should inform the mentor/manager
Players must wear the Club Uniform while playing in a game or on the Subs bench. Players wearing non-regulation shorts will not be considered for selection
Players shall respect decisions made by:
· Game officials – referee, linesmen, umpires
· Club officials
· Coaches, managers and selectors
Players shall show character by a handshake at the beginning and end of a game regardless of the final result. If possible the players should shake hands with the referee
Players should not bring valuables (money, jewellery or watches) to training sessions and matches. The Club will not be responsible for the loss of such valuables
Players should prepare for a game by ensuring that:
· Personal gear (shorts, socks and boots) is checked and clean before a game
· They know the exact times for attending before a game and for training sessions
· They have a good night’s rest prior to a game
· They eat a sensible meal 1½ to 2 hours before a game or training session
· They bring their own water bottle to training sessions
· They listen carefully to advice and tactics as instructed by manager/mentor
