Jumping in RL to D&D

Standing broad jump averages around 7' 4 & 1/4". The Olympic Record for that is 12' 2". I'd say adventurers should be able to approach those olympic records. Perhaps something like Strength Score/2 (or perhaps str/4+con/8+dex/8 ) + d4 would work for a human to give that range.

Running long-jump Olympic records is 29' 5 & 3/4" . The best I could find for average is about 13' To fit those numbers you could go with Strength Score (or str/2+con/4+dex/4) +2d6 in feet.

Vertical jumps: standing jumps max at 4', running and platform jumps 5'. If you're using something for assistance, like pole-vaulting you're up to 20' though. Average seems to be about 18" for the standing vertical jump. We probably want to do something with inches for vertical so say Str x2 + 2d12. +12" if running. Quadruple for a pole (maybe double for a 10' pole.)

Poles would also help with long jumps, I'd double if you use a pole for any jumps.
