Nuestra entidad tiene un claro compromiso de promocionar y mostrar al ciudadano en general y a los profesionales de la justicia, qué es y no es esta Justicia Restaurativa o Reparadora. Por eso hemos organizado dos Congresos Internacionales sobre este tema con la idea de hacerlos de forma bianual.Our association has a clear commitment to promote and show citizens in general and legal operators in particular what it is and not Restorative Justice. That is why we have organized two International Congress on this theme with the idea to celebrate them every two years.

También llevamos años investigando y elaborando material sobre justicia restaurativa, sus herramientas y su posible implementación en España y en el resto del mundo, de ahí que el 25 de mayo de 2012 nos reuniramos con el Secretario de Estado de Justicia, y a partir de ese momento hemos colaborado y seguimos cooperando con el ministerio de justicia para asesorar acerca de cómo implementar la directiva europea sobre derechos mínimos de víctimas y la Justicia restaurativa en España de la mejor forma posible. Para ello hemos elaborado un primer informe sobre cómo debería ser una legislacción sobre víctimas en la que se incluya como algo bueno para ellas, la justicia restaurativa. Estamos agradecidos a este canal abierto con el Ministerio de Justicia, y también al Sr. Ministro de Justicia, el cual por fin ha demostrado su interes en que nuestra país tenga su propia regulación sobre esta materia.We have been making researchers and articles on Restorative Justice, its tools and its possible implementation on Restorative Justice and the rest of the world, and the 25th of May in 2012 we have a meeting with the Secretary of Justice and since then we have been cooperating with the Minister of Justice to show them who to implement the directive on victims and the Restorative Justice in the best way in Spain. For that work, we have made a report on how a law should be about victims and about Restorative Justice. We are grateful that the Minister of Justice is kind to work with us with the aim to introduce this justice more human.

Esta cooperación también se ha extendido a la Comisión Europea pues también elaboramos varias recomendaciones acerca de cómo mejorar la directiva que más tarde se aprobó en septiembre de 2012 y varios documentos de interes sobre victimas y justicia restaurativa que hemos enviado a la Comisión, esto nos valió un reconocimiento de la propia Viviane Reding por nuestro trabajo en la defensa de los derechos de las víctimas en Europa. We have also cooperated with the European Union sending to the European Commission some recommendations on how to improve the directive and some materials about similar materias, and because of that we received a letter from Viviane Reding thanking us our work in promoting the rights of victims through the European Union.
