2014

21 members played for the Marshall Hall Cup in 2014, and there were 10 pairs for the afternoon greensome. The weather in the morning was hot and sunny with just a little rain coming in around lunchtime. A gentle breeze popped up in the afternoon freshening things up a bit.

Duncan Moore won the Marshall Hall Cup with 37 points off 18 handicap with Stuart Southall runner up with 35 points off 11 handicap. Anthony Young was the comfortable winner of the Posnett Salver with 114 points with John Loosley runner up on countback with 104 points.

In the afternoon Mike Gilchrist and Duncan Moore won the greensomes with 21 points on countback from Sion Lewis and Nigel Snaith.

Duncan Moore was awarded the tile for a "clean sweep" although it was later revealed that David Cairns and John Walker were candidates for taking 5 putts on the 9th in the afternoon - when 3 would have given them victory.
