MEETING AT GOG MAGOG GOLF CLUB - 27 July 2012
32 members present and played, Baird, Bell, Blyth, Bonsall, Cairns, Fox, Frisby, Gilchrest, Goodfellow, Hatton, Jenkins, Jones, Livermore, Loosley, Lynas, Mark, Mayes, Mayhew, McCaw, Moore, Parker, Ross, Salter, Samuelson, Scott, Scott Graham, Snaith, Southall, Swift, Young, Walker
Bill Blyth won the Marshall Hall Cup with 39 points (handicap 19), Duncan Moore second with 37 points on card play-off with Stuart Mayes, played on the Old Course as a 3 ball. David Lynas "nearest the pin" at the 17th and received 6 golf balls.
Ian Jones and Norman Mayhew won the afternoon greensomes with 21 points played over the first 9 holes of the Wandlebury Course and Stuart Southall and David Cairns came second with 20 points.
John Jenkins with 114 won the Posnett salver.
Weather was sunny and pleasant, both courses in excellent condition. Last group took 4 hours 25 minutes.
