Match against the Aularians (St Edmund Hall, Oxford), Huntercombe GC, Thursday 24th March. 

This is always a very enjoyable fixture with teams of 12 playing singles stableford. 

Cambridge Inter-College Alumni golf competition, Gog Magog GC, Tuesday 14th April

Team of 6 with a maximum WHI of 28 for both men and women. 5 players will play on the Old Course and 1 (probably the lowest handicap) on the Wandlebury. 

Meet for coffee before golf from 9:30 am

Pre-dinner drinks in the Chapel Garden at Selwyn followed by Dinner and prizegiving in Hall.

Match against Christ’s College for the Lady Margaret Beaufort Trophy, Huntercombe GC, Tuesday 19thMay

Christ’s are the current holders of the Lady Margaret Beaufort Trophy following a narrow victory last year. The format will be teams of 14 playing 36 holes of foursomes. 

Cambridge meeting, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September playing at John O’Gaunt GC 

As a trial, we will hold the annual Cambridge meeting in September this year. Hopefully this will better suit members for whom the conventional July date clashes with summer holidays. As some of you may know, the College no longer offer us free dinner in the Wordsworth Room. Instead we will join the Johnian Society for their annual dinner on the Friday night. This will allow golfers to join the programme of events organised by the Johnian Society on the Saturday, including a tour of the new gardens, a talk by Mark Wells, a demonstration of the new Chapel organ and the main speaker. This also coincides with the Cambridge alumni festival.
