Artifact: Newsletter Shared with Families
Reflection: Each week I provide families with an update on the learning happening in our classroom and a preview of upcoming dates and content. The artifact is one example of a newsletter I have shared with families. These are always written in a friendly and professional way. I include many pictures to appeal to parents and provide a visual look into the activities their students' are completing each week. With few exceptions, similar newsletters have been distributed every Friday afternoon to my families, further evidence of how I complete tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
Artifact: Student Assessment Data
Reflection: This example of one of the spreadsheets I maintain with student data is an example of how I maintain accurate records. This type of organization also allows me to easily recognize continuing instructional needs of my students and supports the sharing of accurate information with families regarding student progress. This helps me make instructional decisions that are supportive of all students.
