Uses Student Data to Inform Planning

Reflection: This artifact is an example of an assessment I created to use within a unit as a formative assessment to guide small group instruction and the planning for the upcoming week. This page served as a formative 'post' assessment for some of the lessons and as a 'pre' test for the lessons slated for the following week. In looking at student responses, I was able to form quick small groups to provide on-the-spot interventions and reteaching of content that needed additional support. Within this one assessment, I was also able to gauge understanding of upcoming lesson content to better plan instruction to meet students where they are. Utilizing student data to inform my planning helps me to provide instruction specific for my students.
