Lesson Plan for Substitute: The artifact that I have included as representative of this criterion is a lesson plan I left for a substitute. One of the professional conduct expectations is that I prepare lesson plans for substitutes to follow in the event of an absence. The example I have included demonstrates my ability to leave detailed, easy to follow lesson plans on occasions when I am not in the room. This enables my students to feel the least interruption, my substitute to feel comfortable, and greatly reduces the likelihood that others will feel stressed by my absence. In addition, in advance of this absence I had followed district procedures for submitting and absence using AESOP.
