Observation Reflection: One habit of continuous inquiry and learning is reflection. Reflection provides opportunites to assess and grow as a teacher and learner. This artifact, the reflection form I completed following an observation in October of 2011, demonstrates my ability to reflect on the lessons and strategies I am using within the classroom. Included within this reflection is a discussion of the formative assessment used and consideration of the effects a different form of assessment may have had on my ability to prepare future instruction. This type of dialogue opens the door to additional learning on my part which will turn into additional learning on the part of my students.
