Video: Although I feel that this is a standard I demonstrate daily within my lessons through engaging strategies and differentiated instruction, I have included a video that shows one way that I have effectively used my knowledge of student development to make learning experiences meaningful and accessible for every student. The video shows students participating in an activity to practice their math facts. The activity included a song that students were familiar with and able to sing along to, kinesthetic learning through movement on a floor number line, and cooperative learning as students assisted one another to get to the right number. This allowed all students to be successful in the activity and enjoy their learning.
