Numeracy

For tips and ideas both on what to teach, how to teach and manipulatives that you might find useful in teaching numeracy, please do look through the 'What, how & where?' section for recommended reference books as well as tips on things like Unifix blocks and a series of useful videos produced to explain some of the basics of the 'Maths Makes Sense' system to teachers (a very simple but great system that it easily adapted to the home education or private tutor setting - ideal for those kids who are at the age where they are learning and needing to reinforce those basic fundamentals upon which all numeracy is then subsequently built, or those kids who need some extra help with their Maths perhaps because these basics are not being adequately taught to them at their school).
