On this page you will find the story of the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, sal Allahu alayhi wa salam. It has been broken down into small, individual chapters or lessons with questions at the end of each one to aid memorisation of the basic facts covered in each one. They have been written in a style which means they can be used in a variety of ways: either 'read out loud' to a child, or read by confident readers by themselves as an e-Book, or else read through by the teacher in advance of a lesson and then used simply as a reference (an 'aide memoire') during it if need be. The intended age range is between 5 and 9 years old but, if used as teaching reference notes for a lesson, they could easily be used for any age.
These lessons have been prepared using the well known book of the Seerah 'Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtoum' (The Sealed Nectar) as the main reference, with some additional details also taken from Ibn Kathir's 'Seerah of the Prophet'. The intention has been to provide insha'Allah a useful, instructional resource that will keep children interested with plenty of informative detail while also being engaging and readable (if it is used as a reading text or read out loud).
Any khair and benefit in it is from Allah, and any mistakes are from shaytaan and myself.
Please note that these lessons are being used in classes at the moment (as of January 2012), and so are being typed up/prepared slowly, one by one. They will be updated as and when each one is ready, so please have patience and do check back regularly for updates, barak Allahu feekum.
