当前（2013.05）有效的安装的方法

直接使用命令行即可，照搬官网（https://www.dropbox.com/install?os=lnx）内容如下：

The Dropbox daemon works fine on all 32-bit and 64-bit Linux servers. To install, run the following command in your Linux terminal.

32-bit:

cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86" | tar xzf -

64-bit:

cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86_64" | tar xzf -

Next, run the Dropbox daemon from the newly created .dropbox-dist folder.

~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

If you're running Dropbox on your server for the first time, you'll be asked to copy and paste a link in a working browser to create a new account or add your server to an existing account. Once you do, your Dropbox folder will be created in your home directory. Download this CLI script to control Dropbox from the command line. For easy access, put a symlink to the script anywhere in your PATH.

内容提要：本节介绍 Ubuntu 下 Dropbox 的安装。自从 Dropbox 被墙之后，Linux 上安装这个软件非常困难，原因是没有完整的安装包，在安装过程中要下载一个文件，偏偏这个地址又被墙了。

本文介绍的方法，是基于符合我自己的实际情况的：

  1. 能使用 SSH，
  2. 没有合适的 VPN 可用。如果你能用 VPN，那么开启 VPN，直接安装就可以了，用不着读下面的内容。

1. 系统准备

sudo apt-get install libnautilus-extension-dev

sudo apt-get install python-docutils

2. 下载软件

安装包1：

32bit: http://www.getdropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86

64bit: http://www.getdropbox.com/download?plat=x86_64

下载后解压，放到 ~/ 下，解压后的目录位置：~/.dropbox-dist

安装包2(dropbox 源码)：

使用

启动

在 Ubuntu，如果不做上面第2步，可如此调用 dropbox:

open a terminal and directly invoke ~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd (by Michael N.)

检索资源

如果要检索所有 Dropbox 用户的公开资源，可把检索参数 site 的值设置为 dl.dropbox.com, 例如：

教程 site:dl.dropbox.com

以上会检索在所有存放在 dropbox 平台上的文件，返回文件名中包含“教程”二字的记录。
