It's that time again! Would you like to join us at Intention 13 for an evening of music, magic & revelry? PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE & THEN COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM AT THE BOTTOM.
If you can't make it for the whole 5 day event, come on up on the Intention Party Bus & join us for a magical New Years Eve 2012!
Snacks, tea, live & DJ music, friends, silly fun & a few surprises will be the fare of the evening.
The secluded, lakeside ranch, which is the location for this event, is not accessible by transit, and the last 8km are on a windy dirt road. To ensure safety of party-cipants, we have hired 2 buses to bring a max of 100 lucky people to the site for the party, leaving Vancouver at 6:30pm on the evening of Saturday December 31st, & departure back to Vancouver at 9:30am sharp the next morning, should be back in Vancouver shortly after 11am - weather depending!
Getting up there by these buses is the ONLY WAY to join us for this party.
Only pre-registered bussers will be allowed onto the bus, as we absolutely must give the camp the exact numbers & we need to prep the right amount of snacks & bevvies.
This is strictly a NO DRUG OR ALCOHOL EVENT!
We have reassured the camp that anyone seen with either will be made to leave immediately. There are NO CANDLES, COMBUSTIBLES or NUTS allowed at the camp. In order for us to book this camp we have agreed to these conditions. This camp deals with children each summer, some of whom have serious, possibly fatal, nut allergies. Please, please respect the rules and process by which we have been allowed to book the camp. Also, we have a fellow Intentionite who is so very allergic to fennel, anise and liquorice, that it's dangerous even if it's in YOUR tea or snacks. Please check your ingredients of items you are bringing, and leave those particular items at home.
NOTE: It is not possible to access the site during the event other than for the full 5 day registered participants AND those coming on the buses. We are not able to invite any individuals to join us at any other time. There is a gate up the road that prevents access to the site. For these reasons, we will announce the exact location, driving directions & arrival details to registered participants only.
THINGS TO KNOW
MUST BRING: indoor slippers or dancing shoes to use in all indoor spaces. Socks must be kept on if you are not wearing shoes in the Dining Hall.
Earplugs!
There will be plenty of spots for you to drop off your things on site, either in the Dining Hall, the Dance Hall, or any of the 3 lounges found in each lodge
If you feel you need to take a break or nap, you can go outside of the chill zones in the Dance Hall or you can check out the lounges in any of the lodges.
Plushy, dryer-friendly blanket/pillow, if you like to cuddle or grab a nap, or sleeping mat, sleeping bag & pillow could be useful as well!
Layered clothing and costume changes (to adapt to temperature throughout the night). It’s gonna get sweaty on the dance floor and nice & crisp outside at the firepit!
We will be providing snacks, teas & coffee throughout the night as well as a camp cooked breakfast this year AND morning snacks before you leave. You may bring your favorite snacks, but food is only allowed in the Dining Hall. No nuts, fennel, anise or liquorice on site please.

Your seat on the bus / ticket to New Years Eve party will not be confirmed on the bus UNTIL your ticket is paid!
Tickets, in spite of inflation, will remain the years-old price of $50 is collected via Paypal.
In order to book the bus, to prepare snacks/bevvies and to allow access to the site, we must have every person on the bus fill out the registration form AND accept the Liability Waiver .
If you are paying for someone else, you must indicate their names in the appropriate field.
All participants are be required to sign a Liability Waiver in order to join us. Please read it carefully, it's contents will affect your legal rights! The Liability Waiver can be read here:
