The Summer School is generously supported by Econometric Society and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Hong Kong University
The program of the summer school consists of ten 90 minutes of lectures and student presentations. Each of the 5 lecturers will talk about topics of his choice in economics.
18 sessions will be assigned for 30 minutes of student presentations of their own research. In addition, students will have opportunities to interact informally with the lecturers.

Application.
Cost and Travel Support.
The registration fee for the Summer School is US$350, which is non-refundable. The fee will cover lodging with breakfasts (6 nights), lunches, and a conference reception dinner.
Students are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from Hong Kong.
The local organizer plans to offer limited financial support through the reduction of the registration fee on a need basis. Details of the financial support will be announced at a later stage.
Tentative Timeline.
An applicant will be notified of the admission decision sometime around March 31, 2020.
An admitted student will be asked to register by April 15, 2020.
A registered student will be asked (again) whether he/she would like to present a paper at the Summer School, around the end of April to organize the student presentations.
We plan to announce the program for the Summer School around early June 2020.
