Format
The program of the summer school consists of at least eleven 90 minutes lectures and student presentations. Each of the 6 lecturers will talk about topics of his choice in economic theory. A few additional sessions will be allocated for short student presentations of their own research. In addition, students will have opportunities to interact informally with the lecturers.

Application
Cost and Travel Support
Registration fee for the summer school is US$350, which is not refundable.
We provide hotel accommodation free of additional charge for the duration of the summer school (check-in: Aug. 2, 2015; check-out: Aug. 8, 2015) for all participating students from the outside of Tokyo area. We plan to offer partial support for the economy class airfare for all participating students from overseas. The expected level of the support for airfare is $300 for those flying within Far East Asia, and $500 for those flying from the outside of Far East Asia. The actual level of the support will be determined by the amount of available fund and the demand for the support, which will become clear by the time when the admission decision is made. Students are encouraged to ask for travel grants from their own universities.
Tentative Timeline
An applicant will be notified the admission decision sometime around March 31, 2015.
An admitted student will be asked to register by April 15, 2015.
A registered student will be asked (again) whether he/she would like to present a paper at the Summer School, around the end of April to organize the student presentations.
We plan to announce the program for the Summer School around early June, 2015.
