Good Friday is a "yes" for us this year. Hispanic churches.
Sun, Jan 4th -- Chris $Man out. Please lead for me!
Instruments: Janice
Vocals: Ben, Janice
Songs:
INTRO: Here I Am to Worship Janice - What key do you want this in? D? E?
INTRO: Cornerstone (Spanish)
Himno: El Señor Así Me Habló
Himno: Tu Pueblo Jubiloso
B4 mssg: Amazing Grace- Eng, just all four verses. I do not think you guys should do the ''My Chains Are Gone'' chorus- just do the 4 vs. There's a certain level of discomfort on Pastor's part when I'm not there, and doing a song with a chorus that our church hasn't done for... 4-5 years, and even then only once... is not a good idea. We could introduce this one back into the rotation, but this week would not be the week to do it.
Santa C: (in order)
Los Que Somos Bautizados
The Stand
Reason for this order: 'The Stand' would work out as a better final song; easier to stretch out than the hymn.

-Himno: By Faith Quiet instrumental... how about no Bible vs? It's actually fairly short come to think of it. For last chorus, release before 4 beats of rest.
-Himno: Estoy Bien Con Mi Dios - w/ chorus Echo designation - PPT only. Don't worry about it for lyrics.
-Final: I Will Follow
Janice -- Make sure to alert Feli, and all future powerpointers, when we have a song w/ a Bible verse in it.
I'm thinking about no more putting a spare tire song. Oftentimes when I put the one I'd really like to do, and then an old-school one, the old-school one is chosen. Thoughts?

Janice- Recall that "Manos Carinosas" is two chords: Emin, B. If you want, we could do it in Dmin and A, and then transpose up to Emin and B on Sunday. You and Ben decide and let me know. Super-easy, but practice it since it´s going off on a whim. :-D
Sound clip for "Quieres Ser Salvo" is in our "Song Chord sheets" folder under that title.
Powerpoint: Sheryl was scheduled, but Luis ended up doing it.
Tues, May 5
- Practice, 7:15PM
- Discussion: Importance of looking at your schedule and cancelling ahead of time. Janice & I live close to each other. We can practice at my house and make plans otherwise if we know ahead of time someone isn't coming. Also, I (Chris) make promises to Carissa about bringing her to play with kids on Tues. A smaller group could meet on a different night if several will not be there. Time to start being timely in scheduling your time off - enough 10AM, 4PM, 6PM cancellations. Enough's enough.
Would a better way of us practicing to me just ask everyone the day of if they're available? Planning ahead is not working, because no one is keeping track of their schedules and managing other needs ahead of time.

Vocals: Ben, Chris, Janice, Rocio. Also a choir from a church. I don´t know how many people.

Here's the order in which we'll do the songs. I have no knowledge of the order of the service.
- Qué Sería De Mí - Delete instrumental in the middle.
- Cornerstone (Spanish, "Segura Mi Esperanza Está", or "Mi Roca", or whatever :-D) I need to make Ben a copy. Delete "El es Dios! El es Rey!" So it´s just the chorus 2X in the middle basically. At the end, just follow me -- v. 3 two times? v. 3, then end? We´ll see. :-)
- Cabeza Ensangrentada - Delete v. 3
- Aquella Cruz (Man of Sorrows, Spanish)
- De Tal Manera
- Glorious Day
