The Esroh's
Esrohs
The Esrohs are an ancient equine breed, more intelligent and benevolent than any other creature including man, about whom legends are told and ballads are sung.
With that said, let us tell you just one of those legends, which pertains to their merciful goodness and warmheartedness.
Rare is the horse who does not enjoy a lithesome gallop through breaking waves as they dash against the shore, but Poseidon loved the sea so much that he daily ran the beaches of Flower Isle. On one of those days, long ago, he spied a dying dolphin who had inadvertently stranded itself on the beach as it had hunted a school of fish too close to the shore. Poseidon hurried to the dolphin's side and promised to save it. The dolphin was so weak it could barely hold its head above the incoming tide, and struggled to release the smallest whisper in its weakened state, "Your kindness touches me, but I am too weak and you must leave me now for I shall surely die. I do not wish to die while being observed."
Poseidon, however, would hear none of that, insisting strongly, "There will be no dying today!" He then began working feverishly with his front hooves to dig a hole beneath the dolphin's head. As the influx of tidal waves helped. making the hole even deeper and wider around the dolphin, Poseidon was able to get his own head under the dolphin's own head to keep the creature from drowning; and eventually, he had the dolphin on his back with its weight much reduced by the buoyancy of the water surrounding them. Poseidon toiled through the day and into the night keeping the dolphin, who was now friends with the mighty horse, afloat in the refreshing and strengthening liquid with both their heads hovering just above the water's surface. By morning, though both were exhausted from struggling through the night without sleep to literally keep Poseidon's new friend's head above water, the dolphin was much stronger and healthier when his pod returned to rescue him. With a sad heart, Poseidon bid his friend ado, and watched as it joined its pod and then as they swam out of sight.
Benevolence is not the only beauty the Esrohs possess, though. They are physically beautiful creatures, as well, both in coloring and build. They have been said to have long flowing manes and tails of silken tresses in tints and shades throughout the red spectrum, ranging from fuchsia to deep maroon (almost black). Their strong, muscular bodies are covered with the finest, softest hair, like velvet -- iridescent black.
The Esrohs, named after mythological gods and goddesses, are said to have wisdom and intelligence beyond compare; and, they possess specialties in common with the god or goddess who they were named after.
When a greedy, malevolent faction of humans tried to capture the Esrohs to forcibly acquire their wisdom and knowledge, these self-sacrificing equines went into hiding, presumably forever. However, it is now believed that with hard work and perseverance, you may actually be able to find and meet an Esroh, perhaps even more.
Each Esroh has a guardian making sure that only adventures they deem to be worthy are allowed to see or speak with the Esrohs they guard. Therefore, each Guardian has a special task you must complete before they grant an audience with their Esroh. After being granted admittance to see the Esroh, the Esroh then has additional tasks you must complete before they offer to share any of their innate wisdom or their specialties with you.
Aphrodite
Birch Isle in the southern part of the forest
Guardian Task: needs 1 million dollars (this does get taken from you to appease the guardian)
Esroh quest: Bring her 99 of 6 different Items she asks you for. So far all of these I have heard of were items you can collect through Horse Isle not items found only on ranches or in general stores.
Esroh Bonus: Lets you groom your horses to 1000 by petting. It also increases horse groom and mood by 100 instead of 50.
Eshroh PitchFork: Talk to Aphrodite (you do not have to finish her Esroh Quest first). She wants you to bring her 10 silver wires, a log, 10 spools of beading cord, one pinch of colorful dust, blue sapphire, and esroh material. Return with these items and she will make you an Esroh Pitchfork which will increase your maximum horse slots by 25%.

Esroh quest 2: Complete a music quiz I used the Shazam app on my Iphone to make this easier.
Esroh Bonus: +30% Conformation competition stat for all of your horses

Guardian Task: 250 arena entries
Esroh quest: Ares will ask you to have completed 7 different awards. The awards he asks you to have done are random and change for everyone.
Esroh Bonus: +30% Strength competition stat for all of your horses
Athena
Drip Isle
Guardian Task: level 4 in sewing and construction
Esroh quest: Create 5 Esroh materials she gives you the pattern (you have to make them you cannot buy them)
Esroh Bonus: +30% Strength competition stat for all of your horses
Artemis
Lost Jungle Isle
Guardian Task: must have the Bareback Rider award
Esroh quest: Show her a random crafted item she asks for
Esroh Quest 2: Show her a foal of a specific color she asks for
Esroh Quest 3: Show her a specific horse breed with over 1k xp that she asks for
Esroh Quest 4: Show her a horse with a specif breed and color that she asks for with over 500 xp
Esroh Bonus: +30% Agility competition stat for all of your horses
Demeter
Droplet Isle
Guardian Task: level 4 in cooking
Esroh quest: Make 5 Demeter's cornucopia's (she gives you the recipe for them and you have to make them and cannot buy them)
Esroh Bonus: All Crafting provides 1/3 Effort bonus (rounded down) 50% of the time if value is below a rand(100 to 10,0000) an extra item produced
Dionysus
Golden Isle
Guardian Task: 75% of all the Mini-Games in HI2 must be completed
Esroh quest 1: Collect water from 20 different wells on Horse Isle. Click here for a printable checklist of the wells' locations.
Esroh quest 2: Bring Dionysus 1000 snowballs in increments of 250 at a time.
Esroh Bonus: Allows your horses to get full rest, hunger, thirst replenishment at your ranch if you own a silo and water tank, and half if you do not own them
Hephaestus
Harbor Isle
Guardian Task: 250 each Iron, Copper, Silver and Gold ores
Esroh quest: Use the farrier 100 times (yes you can put shows on a horse that already has shoes on it)
Esroh Quest 2: Find all legendary Platinium Horseshoes. The locations are different for everyone. The first one is behind a blacksmith shop on Horse Isle. Second one is burried near the center of an island starting with the letter B. Third is burried somewhere on Arid. 4th is right outside Hephaestus's sinkhole but you need to go to Library's on Horse isle and click on bookshelves to "search" them for the book that tells you where it is before you can dig it up.
Esroh Bonus: Horseshoes last twice as long

Flurry Isle
Guardian Task: Answer all of the Riddle Posts
Esroh quest 1: Deliver a note to Dionysus (must have access to Dionysus)
Esroh quest 2: Complete HEra's Math challenge (the questions change for every player)
Esroh quest 3: Bring her 2 Demeter's Cornucopias (you can make or buy these)
Esroh quest 4: Get 60 doubloons and 2 Esroh material go to shipwreck Isle. You will need to go to all 3 sides of center and find the lever to let you into the center of the island. In the center you will find Zeus's guardian who wants 2 pieces of Esroh material in order to make Hera's crown. Once you get the crown return it to Hera
Esroh Bonus: 30% endurance competition stat for all of your horses
Hermes
Gas Isle
Guardian Task: 75% of all the quests in game must be completed
Esroh quest: Solve his adventure
Esroh Bonus: 30% speed competition stat for all of your horses
Poseidon
Lost Isle
Guardian Task: a full set of 4 star tack
Esroh quest 1: Poseidon needs you to find 10 inkwells in the 9 reefs around horse isle. you will find 1 inkwell in every reef and 2 inkwells in 1 reef. You can find the inkwells by searching the shipwreck parts the actual locations change for everyone.
Esroh quest 2: He will send you to the Atlantis maze and wants you to find 12 treasure chests
Esroh quest 3: He gives you a quiz about Esroh lore the questions are different for each person. The information bout the Esrohs can be found in the Library's around Horse Isle. You must Wager 100,000 for this if you win you keep your money if you loose he keeps the money.
Esroh Bonus: Summon a wild horse to you once per day
