Letter from Milton Taggart to his daughter Gertrude

Gertrude was married to Lawrence Jacobs.

Primer: Gertrude was Milton's youngest child. At the time this letter was written, Milton was ~74 and Gertrude was just 26. The guests for Thanksgiving included a number of their children: Al, William (Billie), Lee, Ela May (Married to Anderson Jacobs, brother of Lawrence) and Thresa (married to Bill McCray). One of the sons, Joseph must have attended dinner over to Shorty Cooks. The Al Taggart family (my great-grandfather), would have included my grandmother - just 4 years old at the time.
