Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports Cars 2009
Every year that I’ve been to the Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports cars the gentleman doing the falconry display has lost one of his birds! They usually head for a massive pine tree next to the hall and stay there, refusing to move. I’m beginning to think its all part of the act!
Definitely part of the Eastern Region act every year is a fabulous display of MX-5s and Roadsters. The display starts before we even arrive as our coloured coordinated convoy from Beacon Hill winds is way through the Suffolk Countryside to the stately home. Ady Neill did us all proud again representing the MX-5 in the run down the tree lined drive and as you will also see in Soft Top Hardtop we were honoured with a visit from the Stig who took a fancy to several of our cars. (fortunately we had taken out the keys!) Thanks to everyone who came along and put their car on the Club stand and to the brave souls who came with me into the main ring so we could be interviewed!
