Brookton Otms 2018

The 2018 Brookton Old TIme Motor Show.

The Brookton OTMS, a biennial event, was held on 24th March 2018, this years theme being "Best of British".

There is camping available adjacent the showground which Bob, Geoff, Peter and Robin took advantage of, arriving there on Friday afternoon. 

Our site was to the West of the showground on the gravel near where we were last year between the sheep shearing and the sheep dip display. With good weather expected overnight, we set up three of our shade gazebos to give us a flying start in the morning.

This years exhibitors were Bob, Robin, Arthur, Peter and Willy with the usual wide range of tools trying to stick to the best of British theme.

As well as a swag of stationary engines there were trucks, tractors, vintage cars, classic cars, motorbikes, push bikes, military vehicles.

The Grand Parades were conveniently routed right past us where we could get a good view. During the Parades our visitor numbers were down, the rest of the time we had a lot of interest. Our tool sales, run by Robin, which also work as a display were quite popular.
