Purpose

The dictionary explains that purpose is the reason for the creation of something or why something exists. Years ago, when I was working for companies; I would invent gadgets or machines and people would ask what is it? I knew what it was because I had built the gadgets or machine and I would have to show them the purpose for the machine or gadget that I had created.

The creator always knows the purpose of why he created it. When I was a teenager sometimes, I would ask myself why am I here for? And I have heard teenagers today ask repeatedly the same question. But now I know that the creator knows why we are here. I have also learned that our moms and dads are not our creators, and that God is our creator like it says in Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them.” It says in 1 Corinthians 11:12 “For as the woman was from the man, even so the man also is through the woman; but all things are from God.”

So, if you want to know your purpose ask your creator. God created everyone with a purpose. God created teachers, artists, and singer and that is why it became extremely easy for them to become what they are. God told Jeremiah “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.'' And that was Jeremiah’s purpose in life.

The bible teaches us that God formed us from the womb. Just search the Bible for the word womb and you find out that is so.

You will find that your purpose here on earth when it is easy for you to do what others find hard to do. God has given you gifts for your purpose like an artist can draw easy and an engineer can figure things out or have ideas on how to build things. God gives you gifts for you purpose before you were born in your mother’s womb. When you discover what your gifts you have then you will know more about your purpose in life.

In the bible you will find that God has a purpose for everyone, for instance in the book or Ruth you will find that Ruth was not a Jew, but she went with Naomi, who was her mother-in-law and married Boaz who became the father of Ohed who was the father of Jesse who was the father of King David.

The bible calls Jesus the son of David the son of Abraham. Only the creator knows why Ruth and Jesse and David were all created but we can read the bible and find that they had a purpose.

We do not know what God’s plans are for your children because we are not their creator; God is, and the creator knows. People tell others that if “I only knew my father then I would know who I am;” if you are talking about your spiritual father, you are correct.

Now days we know about DNA and that we pass that DNA on to our sons and daughters. But only the creator knows what their purpose is here on earth. The DNA tell you somethings like they have your DNA and because of that they are your children but only God knows their purpose.

It has always amaze me that the writers of the “Constitution of the United States of America” wrote on the Bill of Rights; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are CREATED equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  They knew about the creator.

The bible also tells us that there is a time for everything and there is a season to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.( Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

When I went to college, I was studying geology which is the study of the earth formation and that by reading the memory of the rocks and what they tell you about the earth. So, everything material has a memory that we must study it to find out what it is.

Now if you have ever read my writings, you know that I have always said that the whole Bible is about Jesus our savior. That God is in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Also, that the Son is the Word of God and the He created all things when He spoke to them out into existence.

Jesus is the creator of the universe, the world, and all humankind. After He created Adam and Eve, He gave them dominium of the earth. (In the book of Genesis 1:28) Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'' But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, everything changed, and things were not the same and humankind still has the dominium of the earth. The devil must work through humankind because that is where he received his authority.

It took four thousand years for prophets to speak enough prophecies about a savior (Jesus) coming to earth. In the Old Testament I know of fifty-five prophecies about Jesus coming but teachers say that there are over three hundred prophecies, and it took four thousand years for all necessary prophecies for Jesus to be born. (example) Read Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. We read in Luke 1:34 Then Mary answered the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore, also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. “In John 1:14 “And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen his glory--the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!”

There is a reason Jesus (the Word) came to earth was to reverse what Adam and Eve did when they disobeyed God. In the bible we read what Jesus said on the cross “It is finished” when He accomplish all the prophesies about Him. He was able to do that because He is God.

Read John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus created the universe. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) 

When you have found your purpose in life you need two things for you purpose to work correctly and that is that you need to be born again and you also need the Holy Spirit. If you have those two things, then God will lead you when you are completely dependent on Him.
