How Big Is Your God ?

I do not know how big your God is but my God is infinite, He has no beginning and no end, and He created the heavens and the earth. When God said, "Let there be light” there was light. When God said let there be firmament in the midst of the waters, there it was. Whatever God speaks happens. One thing we need to learn that Father God spoke rules for everything from the beginning. When God made the world, he made the stars and planets to keep the earth in its orbit and it needs all the pulls from all the stars and planets to make it rotate and do what it does. In the earth, we have rules or forces like gravity and the pull from the moon, which creates low and high tides, etc., etc. God does not make mistakes, He knows the beginning and the end, and He planned it all before He made Adam and Eve.In the beginning was the Word and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. His name is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing in Him you may have life in His name. The whole bible is about Jesus, the first part of the bible was a preparation for the coming of Jesus and then He came, lived, and died in our place. Then from Romans to Revelation, we learn what He accomplished for humanity.

I also learned that God’s Words has boundless power as He created everything by His spoken word and what is more important is that God always keeps His word. Now days there are many things that people say as excuses why the Word does not work for them like “it is not for today,” but most of what I hear is because of bad understanding of the bible and God.

I always tell people “Jesus did it all” because He did, when I was born again and filled with the spirit, God came to my room as a very bright light and talked to me and said that Jesus came to reverse what Adam had done. Adam brought all the bad into the world when he disobeyed God and the devil became the prince of this world. “Jesus came to reverse what Adam did.”

I was in my early forties when I was born again and I would tell all that would listen about Jesus, as I was part of the “Full Gospel Business Men” in Del Rio, Texas. I am in my eighties now, with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Therefore, I am writing this because people need to know what Jesus did for all humanity.

We are now living in the covenant of Grace. Now Grace is what Jesus did for us on the cross when He died and then after three days resurrected. In Hebrews, 4:16 it says “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Grace is in Jesus and He is on the throne.

In John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This is one of many truths or rules that Jesus spoke while He lived among us. In Mark 11:23 He said "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, `Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say unto you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Jesus is saying that speaking to the problem is a prayer and if you believe, you receive and it will happen. That is a truth or a rule set by Jesus. In John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father,” also “whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” That is also a truth or rule that Jesus spoke while here on earth.

In John 14:16 Jesus said "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for He abideth with you, and shall be in you.” Then in the book of Acts 1:8 Jesus said "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.''

It is very important to receive the Holy Spirit as Jesus told Nicodemus “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” That is a truth set by Jesus and that is why we have to be born again. In addition, Jesus told the disciples “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.'' The disciple received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1 to 35).

How big is my God? He is big enough for everybody that wants to believe in Him. Then He can be your God also.

Scriptures to remember: Romans 7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law of Moses, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (of Moses) having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree''),
