Understanding Father God 

It took me many years to understand something about God, and I know that I will continue to learn more about God everyday, because He is alive and well. It is my intentions to write about God as I know Him now so that maybe some of you will get to know Him like I know Him.

 For many years I had searched, trying to find what life is all about. I researched religions, philosophies, I attended churches, I talked to Jews about their religion, talked to Mormons. I read the main books in most religions. I even read the bible cover to cover but I did not understand it. I read most of the Muslim books. I came to the conclusion that the reason that men believe in religions is because they are weak and they need to believe on something greater than themselves. I picked up believing the positive or what is known as positive thinking.

 Now, positive thinking took me a long way, but somewhere inside of me I knew there was more to life. Every time I had a close call with death I would say "somebody up there loves me."

 Then one day listening to the radio at home, I heard a preacher talking about a man that would kill Christians and he ended up the talk by saying that the same man wrote two thirds of the New Testament. That got my attention and I thought “how can that be,” so I searched for a Bible. I found the book of Acts, just like the preacher had mentioned on the radio. I started to search and found that in the 2nd book of Acts, the Holy Spirit came and touched one hundred and twenty people. So, I got down on my knees and prayed, “God if you are real I want what those 120 people got in the second book of Acts.” Well, nothing happened for a long time (more than a half an hour), but then I remember what I had heard, "that you have to believe in Jesus Christ and believe it in you heart." I said “ I believe in my heart that Jesus is your son,” and immediately a bright light came into the room, that light has change me completely and at the same time God answered all my questions and concerns that I had about Jesus for so many years.

 After that happened to me, I opened the Bible again and read but this time all the words in the Bible were alive and God would talk to me through His Word. So I now know that you need the Holy Spirit to teach you and understand the Bible and also that it was the Holy Spirit that change me completely so that I do not want to sin anymore.

 It will take a very long time to reveal what God has taught me since I was 42 years old but this is my intention in starting this website. It is to reveal all that I have learned about the Father God and His son Jesus.

 But first just read John 14:9  Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, `Show us the Father?"  So if you want to know the Father, get to know Jesus and you will know the father. Jesus while here on the earth never put sickness or disease on anybody, He only went around doing good things and then He was killed, was buried and resurrected and that is what establish the New Covenant that Christians are to be living by today.

God is love.
